So my wife is literally ready to explode with our fourth child at any minute. We go to her Dr's appt on Friday and they tell us that things are going well but come in on Tuesday (tomorrow) and if your not ready then, we'll send you to the hospital and induce you. Fine, sounds like a plan to me. Well, here we are on Monday night out to dinner with the kids and my wife asks me if I'm still taking the kids to the Uconn game on Thursday night, and that I should think about leaving at the end of the 3rd qtr since its not an important game and its a school night for the kids! I was like: "are you serious? you DO know that we are having another child tomorrow right?" She then said " of course I do, what are you guys going to do, sit around and watch the baby sleep? Go and enjoy the game, the kids will have fun!" Now I don't claim to be an expert on much, but Im pretty sure that I married the right woman! I am submitting her name for wife of the year!

Four kids is impressive. Congrats.

See seems wise - so if she is encouraging you to take a bunch of kids to the game it's to her advantage.

My wife is like that around UConn and Packers games. Basically have an unlimited free pass. And she comes when she can. She knows how hard I work and that's my outlet.
 
Wife of the year vote here! And you are not far behind for taking the other 3 to the game Thursday night!
 
My wife "released me" to go on the day of birth of our 3rd. I decided against it, but she would have let me go. Almost same scenario, though - she got induced on the morning of the URI game ~5 years ago.

Congrats - and holy crap that's awesome. We have number 2 due in November and my wife is currently petitioning me to give up my season tickets in advance.

That's aweome! My wife's due in September... the day of the Michigan game!!! She's thinking she'll go late anyway, but we'll see. Not only that but my 1 year anny, is actually the same weekend at the Maryland game too. So I'm basically probably missing the 2 biggest games ever in Uconn Football history at The Rent. Its all worth it thought... right guys?

Thank you for all the messages and PM's guys. All went well, everyone's healthy. Getting out of Hartford Hospital around 1 which is just enough time to get home and grab the kids and head back to The Rent!! I owe the In-Laws BIG time for sleeping over tonight to help out, this better be a good game because its gonna cost me......!!!!!

I got married on Sept 6th, 2008, the day of the UConn/Temple game in the monsoon. It was monsoon here too. Every year though, damn, why didn't we get married like August 24th or something.

That was a great game to be at actually. The rain was warm... the kids had a blast playing in the waterfall coming down the steps of the Linc and Donald Brown and TL were pretty awsome. The kids still talk about it.
