The darkest element of the article was the comment that Azzi's foot injury " still lingers."  If that is the case, there is something systemically wrong. And she needs to be re-xrayed, have surgery, or sit down now for two months.   Foot injuries cannot be " played through" in basketball. In most anything actually.  Maybe chess is okay.  Perhaps the basketball gods are determined not only to deny us seeing Paige and Azzi play together in top form, perhaps they are also determined to deny us seeing either player in top form.

Someone please correct this horrible vision. Is it true that Azzi's foot problem still lingers?  What is going on?
