New Canaan's FCIAC record of 34 straight games undefeated and untied remains intact. Set from 1968 to 1970 during the Pete Demmerle, Kurt Horton, Piel Pennington, Lem James, years. It was also a state record until Ansonia broke it with 36 in a row in 1978.
