Hyppo gets one carry. Goes for 19 yards. Helps ignite the second half. Never gets another hand off.

Just struck me as odd.

Same here. McCombs is quickness back, Delorenzo a power back. Hypo seems to be the best combination of the two. I know he fumbled against Ville, but wish they would have found more of a role for him. For now I'm just happy McCombs isn't getting all the carries. Still would like all down and short distance carries went to someone other than McCombs though.

Possible injury? I have nothing to base it on. Just a thought.

Why this discussion? Based on both practice (I'm sure) and game performance, MH fumbles too much. If they had faith that he could hold on to the ball, he'd get more carries.

He has fumbled once this season. Of course, he has only carried 24 times, but once doesn't seem excessive.

BTW, his average per carry is 5.0.

and also BTW, when you are 0-9 taking a few risks is justified.

Possible shout out to the prior coaching regime?

Wasn't there a game last year where Hyppolite got a carry and he took it 50 yards for a TD and then never saw the ball again for the rest of the game?

So 1 carry is ok but 2 or 3 is a big risk?

Add me to the list who don't understand his absence. But then again, coaches always know better.

Was it last season when he had that 60 yard TD, then never played again?

Very weird how he can't even get a shot on kickoffs.

He looked very fast and shifty on that one carry. And he didn't fumble.

Considering what he has been through...
2011 knee injury...no action
2012 limited use...prior coaching regime let him have his 60 yard run then let him sit....
then he was a passenger in February 2013 head on crash,in serious condition in the ICU and had to come back from cracked hip..initially thought he might not play in 2013
2013 HCPPGDL chose creatively to let a 170 lb running back take the brunt instead of MARTIN and MAX....hope TJ continues to spread the work load and give HIPPO a few more carries.

There are fumbles and then there are fumbles. That L'ville fumble was such a killer I really don't care if he plays another game.
