Looking at our remaining schedule, the only teams I don't feel extremely confident about beating are Cincinnati and Tempe. And who knows, we could end up coming out on top against one or both of them? Regardless, we have a great shot at finishing at .500. Who would've signed up for that after the SMU game last year?

You are extremely confident in beating Houston?

Not for nothing but the only game they would be favored in today is home for South Florida.

Not that we would be favored, but I can see us coming out on top against UCF, Tulane, and ECU. Then again, those games could go either way if we play as sloppily as we did tonight. I'm saying that Cincy and Temple are the only schools I'm assuming that we'll lose to.

Maybe check what you wrote. And Houston is better than Cincy and Temple.

I'm 7 Blue Moons in - please excuse any mix-ups between frankenconference teams I may have made.

First time I've ever watched a UConn game not being sober. I feel like for this season, this was the game to do so.

6 Bushes. 8 Captain 100s

Slow and steady wins the race.

You seriously deserve an award for sitting through the past few years sober

I'm younger than everyone else on the football board. I didn't have a choice through the entire PP era.

I'm trying to think of the last game I watched completely sober. Had to be at Army after being stuck in traffic.

Good luck going back.

Again, I think that the conference schedule will be easier to watch. But in case, I'm stocking up my fridge.

I find I tend to be a bit more angry at losses. Ok during the PP years I *may* have fired off some really angry emails to Warde and Susan after every game. All the while my wife is like, "why not you wait until tomorrow to do that?".
Hello?!? Cause then I'll be sober and maybe more rational!

For me, it depends on who the loss is to. I've been following UConn football for over 10 years, and I don't think that we're at the point where a loss to BYU will leave me that infuriated. Probably the 2nd best G5 football program behind Boise State. If this were a loss to Tulane or USF, I would be raising cain alongside everyone else. But this is a little more bearable for me.

I won't burst your bubble but the games are going to get uglier. For some reason college football evolved into an orgy of offense everywhere but 150 miles from Storrs.

No I'm not infuriated tonight! Not by a long shot. Disappointed that we let another one slip away? Heck yea.
