... all of these double-OT losses are giving us a pretty significant amount of extra game time. 5 minutes here, 5 minutes there. Next year Bouknight will be halfway to a Junior!

Good point. The announcers were talking about this also, how the Huskies have gained valuable experience by playing in so many overtime games and close wins and losses. They say by the time you reach 3/4 through your freshman year you're no longer a freshman, but you're right- it's even more so with UConn. It's not only the minutes played and refining of skills and talent that will pay dividends, but also the camaraderie that is developed over the course of a season of highs and lows. The way this team is collectively building character through adversity is something to see and certainly bodes well for the future.
