I hope you are wrong fleudy really I do………he wasn't that good guarding anyone form what I saw and I'm trying to find a positive…….there's not much there. BUt again, I am a Husky fan so I'm all for rooting for a crow dinner if you are right…….gladly! Will you join me?
The crow dinner is if I'm wrong about OC having some important games before this season ends. If he's a dud I eat crow because you were right. If he has some good games down the stretch I have some crows you can chose from.

The only change in philosophy I would like to see is street clothes until 2014-15…….again not a knock on him as I think it's been a tough year physically coming off surgery and mentally……for now we need the chemistry of the impact players and between Kromah and Giffey unless they are in foul trouble, one should almost always be on the court or else 3 guards…….he is a liability and I don't buy the "improvement on defense"….while he may be improved that wasn't very hard to do!!

I think it's worth playing him a few minutes each game to see if he can snap out of this. If he can, then he can be a HUGE help. I'm not talking about playing him 35 minutes... He's only playing 10 minutes at this point anyway. Let him spell Giffey/Kromah, and see if he can put some good minutes together. Still a lot of time left to turn it around.

Omar may be thinking too much and putting extra pressure on himself. The kid is a natural shooter who will get it back when he relaxes and just plays in the flow of the game. Easy to say when you are not the one on the court with 10,000 critics in the stands but it will come eventually. We will be in fat city if he returns to his form of last year.

Well, yeah, IF he returns to form... sure seems like he isn't physically at 100%. I'm not sure I want him taking minutes that TS and KF can use (or NG and LK). I'm sure KO wants to play the guys that will get us a "W". If he's part of that group, then I'm ok with it.

Not sure what it is but sophomore years for UConn guards are a clusterf$&@, but more than anything the hip issues probably have really impacted his ability to just go out and play with confidence. We can't underestimate the mental adjustment you need to make to play at a high level after a surgery to repair anything on the legs/knees/ankles.

I am really glad that he will be with us next year as that is when we will see the player we thought we had. This year is a write-off ("you don't even know what a write-off is, do you?")

Far too late for a redshirt, so keep him in the rotation, even if it is 5 minutes per game.
