Someone posted in a thread/ started a thread about how we're ahead of a lot of great programs in terms of our coach.
K Boheim Roy pitino etc are all going to be gone in a few years with apparently Boheim in '19? In roughly 5 years Ollie has beaten several hall of fame coaches, won a NC, a conference tourney championship, 2 straight years of top 20 recruiting classes, consecutive 20 win seasons, all while inheriting a post season ban and recruiting restrictions. Ollie has freedom now to get the types of players he wants.
Idc if bazz and them were Calhouns recruits Ollie was with them from day one and you could see in '14 how he wants to play with heady pgs and bigs who can pick and pop whole spreading the floor. Ollie can get guards and wings consistently as of now but needs to focus on a big talented center.
Has the conference performance been bad, yes but we're ahead of other programs and we're not going to get another great young coach with connections and who can relate so well to players.
