Well, our pick and roll offense is atrocious because our players set screens on air. When they do make contact with a body, it's an illegal screen.

Agree, but a lot of that is on the ball handler. It's the ball handlers job to wait for the screen to set, and then run their guy off of it. Our guys leave to early, the big isn't set, and we get a foul called as a result.

To be fair, leaving aside any Boneyard interactions, he was bombed out of his mind for that particular stretch. And is noticeably embarrassed about it.

I know he was bombed, and it was a funny moment at the time, but he still made an ass out of himself and it really damages the credibility of his gimmick. He takes himself too seriously given that he just did that about a month ago.

This is true. However, often times our bigs when coming up to set a screen run behind the defender and don't really pick a side to screen right away. This, as opposed to running at an angle and making it clear to the ball handler which side the screen will be set on, makes it MUCH easier for the ball handler to set up the defender and then bring him right into the screen to get caught in it.

It's a definitely a problem on both ends. That really should be practiced until guys puke, because it's an eminently fixable problem.
