7 years of college? How much more eligibility does she have?

It really tears me up to see this. Where oh where might I find a GIF to aptly express my anguish …Yeah that's about the biggest "Danger, Will Robinson" warning sign I can think of for a program. There must be some really bad juju in South Bend right now.

For 700k, most collegians would suit up for the Minnesota State Screaming Eagles. If Prince doesn’t return wouldn’t TCU be making a decent step back next year? The $$ is great but playing for mediocre team could seemingly hurt draft prospects?
I am not a fan of Prince so maybe I’m biased, but if she actually comes back for an 8th (!!!) year I’m going to start throwing hands at the NCAA. Ridiculous.1 year
she has only played 3 eligible years
Can you play WBB with your gray hair roots showing? Or, better yet, can you play WBB while collecting Medicare?7 years of college? How much more eligibility does she have?

Why does this bother people . She’s played 3 eligible years. Plus 1 year that didn’t count. Plus she was injured several times and had to sit out a year under the old transfer rules.I am a not a fan of Prince so maybe I’m biased, but if she actually comes back for an 8th (!!!) year I’m going to start throwing hands at the NCAA. Ridiculous.
This board is tough on someone like Prince, who can win you 36 games, but then wilts against the toughest bigs on TX or SC.I agree. After the way Prince played tonight I can't imagine her presence on next year's team would be a huge factor for Miles. Maybe she knows of other players who will join in.
A masters degree in "entrepreneurship" is quite the ironyWe talked about this on other board.
Obviously, could be Notre Dame intrique, always fun...
But also...Miles already has bs econ/biz and masters in non profit 5/25 from ND. Even with no ill will to ND, this move gives her a chance for another Masters at another school, and a chance to be a 1 yr hero in hoops, while WNBA collective bargaining sorts out.
She's a top student, so Stanford, USC, Vandy & Duke all realistic options. TCU and LSU options too.
My guess is she will go to USC and do exactly same masters in entrepreneurship that Iriafen did. (and earn a little pocket money too)
Incredible surprising, but at the same time very clever from O Miles.

It’s not just Prince, I hate it when any player in any sport just keeps playing past a 5th year. I’ve seen football players playing a 7-8th year and I find it equally annoying. Why does this bother people . She’s played 3 eligible years. Plus 1 year that didn’t count. Exactly! If I'm not a fan of seeing 26-year-old men dominating 18-year-olds in college, why would I make excuses for a 26-year-old woman for doing the same? It’s not just Prince, I hate it when any player in any sport just keeps playing past a 5th year. .....I will admit to finding this out from an ESPN scroll. A few of you reached out to see what was up and -- as is my wont -- took some time to ponder and research (post-game presser and local press write-ups.) My take:I think some of us also have complicated feelings toward Prince, given the abuse accusations against her by multiple former partners beginning in 2019. (As far as I know, at this point, they are only allegations, and she has not been found guilty of anything in court.)This board is tough on someone like Prince, who can win you 36 games, but then wilts against the toughest bigs on TX or SC.
I suspect this as well. TCU apparently has a boatload of money, OM wants to run the entire show as point, and will get a big payday.i wonder if this means Prince is coming back?
This is bad news for Notre Dame....recruits look for good coaching and with all the talent they had, but were still beaten by non-ranking teams is a big tell.
I have nothing against Ms. Prince, but I think it’s time for her to depart college, as a regular daytime student. I believe it’s time for her (and other 7-year student athletes) to become adults, leave the nest(s), and start paying for her/their own expenses. Because, in reality, how long shall we/must we, continue to “care for the kids?”I am not a fan of Prince so maybe I’m biased, but if she actually comes back for an 8th (!!!) year I’m going to start throwing hands at the NCAA. Ridiculous.
Yikes. Basically, this is the politest possible way for someone to confirm there was a chemistry issue. In the postgame presser after the loss, Sonia Citron made a comment I thought was interesting, something along the line "we have so much talent on our team that sometimes we don't know what to do with them".
Kinda makes one appreciate Geno’s emphasis on team culture in his recruiting. He’s swimming against the current to some extent in today’s recruiting culture, and it’s not surprising that not a lot of other coaches follow his lead in this. It’s not the quick path to success.Yikes. Basically, this is the politest possible way for someone to confirm there was a chemistry issue.
Ivey truly seems like a very nice person. However she really lost control of this locker room situation. A lot of heat will be on her now.
This conversation made me think of the Oklahoma game, I don’t wanna say it definitely, but the coach and the team seem like they had some chemistry issues. And it may show in the future. It’s crazy because I thought about how Geno does it literally while watching the game. The way some of the players interacted with each other I can see some viewing it as toxic, I wouldn’t see it that way, but I saw some questionable interactions between the players.Kinda makes one appreciate Geno’s emphasis on team culture in his recruiting. She basically let her sophomore guard do anything she wanted without reigning her in when it hurt the team.Yikes. Basically, this is the politest possible way for someone to confirm there was a chemistry issue.
