It's funny how the players, not just Azzi and Paige, seem to always knock Storrs. Obviously, it's not a thriving metropolis, but opponents are always doing that, so it would be nice if someone would just say something good about how beautiful it is up there, and believe it or not, a lot of people may enjoy the quiet and wildlife that exist up there. The city is a way of life for most of the kids, but I know at my age I love the serenity of a place like Storrs. It's not for everyone, but as I said, it's a welcome change for some people to get out of the city. I won't apologize, but I love it.

Nice to see that the team had a couple days to kick back and enjoy the Bahamas, as they did not return to CT until Saturday. I strongly suspect that Geno found some time to get in a round of golf, possibly with Scott Rueck from OSU who is also a pretty serious golfer.

I loved Storrs when I went to UConn. It is a stunning campus. I wish I never left. I should've tried for a career there. It's one of my regrets.

And CD was on the road, scouting. She said in her Postgame radio Presser that she was leaving Friday for a weekend HS tournament. She didn't mention if she was going alone or not.
