If that was all there was too it ASU would have 10 NC.

Tucson is actually cooler than Tempe. In Arizona the temperature is more about elevation than latitude. Tucson is about 3500 ft. There is actually a ski resort there. If you remember last year match play championship. was curtailed by frost and snow. If you see someone in shorts in Dec,Jan,Feb,or March they are probably
Canadian and over 60.
The elevation in Tucson is 2600, the daily average high is over 64 12 months a year, over 74 10 months a year, and over 85 8 months a year with the majority of those over 90. While cooler than Tempe it's still shorts whether on a pretty regular basis for normal peopl year round with the exception of Floridians, Arizonans and southern Californians who wear a coat when the mercury dips below 70. That being said, while I love to vacation in Tempe and Tucson I'd rather play my college hoops in Storrs, CT!

No, you don't wear shorts in Tucson in January. I go there every year in March and it's quite chilly, particularly once the sun goes down. This year it was unseasonably warm -- up in the 70s.

The average daily high in January is 65. The average daily high in March is 75. We do regular golf trips to Arizona an its nice and warm year round, even in Tucson at slight elevation. I wear shorts when im golfing and the weather is the high 60s and high 70's. It gets chilly at night but the days are usually quite pleasant.

In my experience, the daily high doesn't do you very much when you're on the course at 3:30 and the wind is blowing. If you're a tough guy, you can wear shorts in Alaska in January. I wore them golfing this year for the first time in 3 years in March. I've lived in the Northeast my whole life so I'm not exactly a softy when it comes to weather. I was surprised the first time I went to Tucson in March. I didn't realize how drastic the difference was compared to Phoenix.

Average March high/low temperature in March is 75/54 in PHX and 74/48 in Tucson. Hardly any different. Not sure when I became the boards weatherman but I think I'm done.

Windier in Tucson. 48 and windy doesn't feel good. We'll leave it at that.

Unless you're playing golf between midnight and 5am (lowest temps of the day) you should be ok.

FYI - Turner to Texas. No big surprise.
Kid will be good though.
