OL Chase Lundt to the Bills!

Highly complimentary of Chase when discussing him on ESPN. Said that he can be a steal as he really just needs to add some weight to his frame. Said he has all the footwork and skill down and that Allen will be real happy with this pick once he gets some more weight.

Really happy for Chase. Great to see him join up with RVD as well.

Congrats to Chase. He has come a looonggg way from his freshman year. He is probably still having nightmares about George Karlaftis in the Purdue game. He may get the chance to get even as a Bill. The Bill and Chiefs have had a number of memorable battles and its look like that should continue for a while. Sleep well.

Congrats to Chase. But have to say, it is weird hearing a 304lb guy being told to gain weight.

-> “I’m glad Buffalo gave me this opportunity because now I can prove a lot of these other teams wrong and know that I’m on a really good team in a really good situation with a great group of guys,” he said. “I know that means they’re going to demand a lot more out of us in terms of making sure we’re up to speed on everything, but I’m willing to make that adjustment. Coming from the college program that I just came from, I knew that Coach Mora was trying to do everything he could to put us in the best position to succeed each and every single day and I know Coach (Sean) McDermott is going to do the same. <-

-> Lundt, along with a handful of his other pro-hopeful teammates, stayed at Mora’s house over the last month and worked out in the Huskies’ facilities leading up to draft week. Lundt said he was picking the brain of the former NFL head coach as much as he could. “He was probably the best resource I could get from any guy who’s been in the NFL that I know of,” Lundt said. “Just spending evenings on the couch with him talking ball, getting ready for this very moment where we’re at now, it’s gonna help me so much when I get to the NFL. Because he taught me so much about life lessons, both in football and outside of football, he taught me more about situational football than any coach has ever taught me in my entire life… Whenever I get my opportunity I know I’m gonna do everything I can to make it really good.” <-

That's a great spot for him, btw did you all know that Chase Lundt got prank called 5 times on draft day, supposedly.
