Congrats to Chase. But have to say, it is weird hearing a 304lb guy being told to gain weight.Highly complimentary of Chase when discussing him on ESPN. Said that he can be a steal as he really just needs to add some weight to his frame. Said he has all the footwork and skill down and that Allen will be real happy with this pick once he gets some more weight.
Really happy for Chase. Great to see him join up with RVD as well.
Lundt joins Ryan Van Demark as the other UConn OT now protecting Josh Allen in Buffalo.
This in bold is gotta be a huge selling point for players in the portal. It's even more convincing that he can back up his NFL experience with positive results. However, seeing these players say how much he has helped them get ready to get drafted goes a long way in securing those bigger names looking for a final year or two before hopefully going pro.-> Lundt, along with a handful of his other pro-hopeful teammates, stayed at Mora’s house over the last month and worked out in the Huskies’ facilities leading up to draft week. Lundt said he was picking the brain of the former NFL head coach as much as he could. “He was probably the best resource I could get from any guy who’s been in the NFL that I know of,” Lundt said. “Just spending evenings on the couch with him talking ball, getting ready for this very moment where we’re at now, it’s gonna help me so much when I get to the NFL. Because he taught me so much about life lessons, both in football and outside of football, he taught me more about situational football than any coach has ever taught me in my entire life… Whenever I get my opportunity I know I’m gonna do everything I can to make it really good.” <-
