Excellent write up and Chuck will be great for kids.

Warning Scrooge alert:
(not good to be 0-2 with all players returning from a 14-6 squad last year )

Does anyone have that video of him saying how much he loved his team back in 2011?

Interesting comparison of motivation methods of JC and KO from a former player

Just a real good guy. Bet he is a wonderful influence on those kids.

So all of you who commented here are paid subscribers to the Hartford Courant? I was interested in reading the article but not enough to pay to do so.

Twice a week. Only because my wife likes the coupons that pay for the paper and more. Otherwise we would not pay for it.

Coach Chuck....ahahhaha Love that kid.

Chuck was a funny one for me. I always liked him, whether he was sucking or WINNING. Can't say that about many role players. And I had a blind optimism with him every game.

I would alternatively yell things mid game like, "Put Chuck in the game!" followed by "Get Chuck outta there!" or "feed the ball to Chuck, he's hot!" followed by "Don't let Chuck touch the ball!"

Most confounding guy I ever rooted for. Always liked him though. And in the end, to Chuck's credit, he definitely helped UCONN pick up some hardware.

If he is successful at this level, perhaps the next step in his career arc could be the "big man" coach that many by'ers have been seeking.
