Watching the OU/Texas game.

Pretty good game so far.

36-31 at the half. I still believe that over the course of the next few seasons, Texas will get much better. Team is young and they run a decent looking offense just shots not dropping.

Switching to Purdue/Nebraska now.

If Texas finishes in the top half of the B12 this year I will be very surprised.. They look hopeless, now getting blown out.

Aston deserves more than one year before rendering judgement, to be sure, but the early returns are not good. It's not like Gail left the cupboard bare.

I was not judging Aston. The product on the floor is bad, but Stafford is a bright spot. Aston has not much else to work with, Reed in particular seems like a bad role model for Aston's youngsters.

Texas certainly looks like they have the goods. They repeatedly miss point blank shots and get out rebounded by smaller players. OU just looks like they are working harder. 16 point lead with 3 to go. Another point blank miss 2 feet from basket. Lay up 14!
