With an hour to go before UConn tips off, those who are early at their sets/screens might want to check in on the Big 12 action.

Brenda VanLengen, one of the better color analysts out there, is on the call.

Love the play of the Texas.
I seen so many play's made, by Atkins and Holmes that was unbelievable.
A much improved Texas team.

Texas has certainly improved since the start of this season, but they has a long way to go if they want to improve on last year's Elite Eight showing.

Oklahoma was within 2 points multiple times in the 3rd quarter and looked like the more organized and disciplined team for most of the second half. Texas looked like it was running the Tennessee half-court offense: stand around, dribble dribble pass, stand around some more, and let someone go one on one late in the shot clock. They won this game thanks to their superior athletes (Holmes and Atkins in particular) but not really better team basketball. I'm not sure I consider Texas the favorite when these two teams play the return game in Norman.

It's a fine day for wcbb: Texas beats OU, previously-vanquished USF wins a game, UConn blows out Tulsa. Good times.

Much improved? They struggled with Oklahoma! Baylor will, imo, blow them away.
