29-26 OK midway through the second

Texas wins 86-76. First half was contentious but TX pulled away, led most of the 2nd half comfortably by double digits.

Celeste Taylor with a career high 27 points. I can only imagine where this team would be without her.

I dragged myself back to Austin just in time to catch this game. It was an extremely physical game, especially in the 1st half. Karen Aston gave the refs the business as she walked clear to the other end as Underwood was down and shaken up, and ended up getting a tech. That was the most fired up I've heard the Texas crowd since the end of the Stanford game.

Ariel Atkins was in the house, signing autographs before the game and was introduced to the crowd after the 1st quarter. To say she's a fan favorite would be an understatement.
