Agreed and looking at Kenpom this early is just silly, your talking about a 2 or 3 game analysis and usually verse awful teams, don't read much into it, let it get a 8-10 game analysis.

Don't rely on overall rank, but do look at the team stats especially team characteristic things (how often they shoot 3's, possession length and pace, etc.). Just don't rely on things like shooting %'s, or things affected heavily by the other team like FTAs. Offense generally has more control over the type of shots they take, so those kinds of characteristics are fine.

Ok st isn't as good as their results/record says and uconn isn't as putrid.

Ok st has literally played 3 of the worst d1 programs in the country. Their Kenpom ratings last year are similar to their early ratings this year
