Been watching for a while. Low energy game. Oh, Big East, where have you gone!

What a contrast to last year's game at Stillwater, where the fans really turned out and helped OSU upset UCLA.

Neither team is anything close to what they were last year. I'll be surprised if either one makes the NCAA tournament.

I just looked at the attendance figures from last year and considering the PAC12 has been the top 1 or 2 conferences in WCBB the past few years, attendance is pathetic for the games. OSU 4,979 and Oregon 4,255 lead by a lot. Ironically UCLA is 3rd @3,249.
1. SEC @ 4,523
2. Big12 @ 3,875
3. Big10 @ 3,860
4. ACC @ 2,885
5. PAC12 @ 2,587
6. AAC @ 2,028

Somewhat surprising considering the new stalwarts of WCBB are ND, Louisville, withDuke, NC, Virginia, being strong programs that the ACC is so far down.
Now we already know the laid back left coast has multiple recreation options but still to be 5th in conference attendance?

For the AAC, it’s driven by UConn, then USF and UCF and maybe if USF can continue to improve the fans may come and we close the gap.

Ouch. Yeah, Pac 12 attendance is pretty sorry. Volleyball is same story. Big 10 fans are huge supporters of their volleyball programs and everybody is kinda ho hum out here.

UW is making it hard for me though. They just aren't very good. I streamed their game yesterday, tried today but had to quit watching. They can't shoot and don't have enough scorers. I might go to the game against Mississippi St. on Thursday, but it's probably gonna be a 40 point beat down.

Are you watching their game vs. Boise State right now?

That's the one I quit watching. Were down 13, went on a 21-2 run to take the lead, but then all Boise St. after that. BSU keeps hitting one 3 after another and UW keeps clanking everything.

BSU 14-28 3's UW 5-20
Not sure how they're only down by 6?

Melgoza was 5-16 yesterday and 2-13 today. When your best player can't hit the broad side of a barn and you have a shortage of talent, hard to win games.

Yes, UW has the advantage in the lane and at the FT line. Boise State has a player who's hit seven 3s.

73-69 BSU final. Gonna be another long year for UW. I was hoping for improvement this year, but not seeing much. Melgoza and Peterson both scored 17 but went 4-17 and 6-18 from the field, nobody else in double figures. That doesn't cut it. Melgoza combined 9-33 over the two day event.

Not a good game for Washington. Tough shooting night for those two players.

It wasn't just this game though. I've seen them struggle against BAD Northern Arizona, Seattle U. and Montana teams before finally putting them away well into the second half. I think there's at least some talent on the roster, but the execution isn't very good and just generally poor shooting from game to game. Doesn't help that they have no true PG and the only player with any legit size is a Fr. who is fairly raw. It's hard to believe that only 2 years ago I was watching Plum and Osahor. Seems like forever already.

Ohio St. and Duke both should be really worried that they lost to UW.

Duke will be better than they showed vs Washington now that Boykin has returned to the line-up.

So apparently the end of the UW-Boise St. game was controversial. UW down 2, Melgoza drove and hit a layup, whistle. She thought she was going to the line to put UW up 1, w/ 12 seconds left. Offensive foul, wipe out the bucket, going the other way. I didn't see it, but apparently Coach Wynn was livid over the call.
