Curious to see Mack vs. Egbo, Smith and Gusters....not thinking it goes well for Mack...

16-11 BAY end of first

Egbo 5 pts, 4 reb, 1 ast, 1 blk

Crazy half. Baylor opens 16-2, then allows OSU to take the lead after a 19-2 run, then Baylor responds with 17 unanswered point to lead 35-21 at halftime.

Didi impresses me more and more with how she took over that PG position.
It’s funny because a lot of Baylor fans doesn’t want Didi at the point! I think she’s doing a good job.

Lol outside of LSU. Baylor is definitely my second favorite team. (Kim ties with Louisiana).

Now I will say. If Baylor had a steady PG outside of Didi (backups are not ready) I would like to see Didi more off ball. Especially with how she use to cut to the basket when The bigs was getting doubled or tripled. And how she use to clean the offensive boards. Either way. Didi is a very good player. Won't give you eye popping scoring numbers but can fill a stat sheet fast.

I think Didi is more beneficial off the ball (due to rebounding, cutting to the basket and creating for teammates with screens), but in this years case she is the best option Baylor has right now to run the point.

If Andrews and Jaden had a proper offseason without all the COVID interruptions, they might have been able to contribute more but it is what it is this year. Only way you will get better is through experience and its limited this year due to the restricted schedules.
