"I'm just not confident that (realignment is over)," Castiglione said. "I know all the legal arguments, the grant of rights and all of those things that have taken place in other conferences. But there are still some other things that are out there. Whether or not it's the discussion about reshaping Division I, a new division, or how the model goes, whether that causes it. Or there are some lawsuits that are still pending, whether that causes it...

"I just think you've got to stay tuned."

Drip, drip, drip.

The only lawsuits hanging out there are the RU (inconsequential) and Maryland (substantial) ones.

So if he is intimating that the resolution of the MD/ACC litigation might spur more realignment, it makes sense that an ACC team would be involved. However, my eyes glaze over when legal beagles write their message board memorandums of points and authorities in support of (or in opposition to) a GOR, so I really don't know what to make of this statement.

But I like me some Joe Castiglione gut.
