Grill is already in the trunk.

Noonish - Need to go buy ice.

2 PM - Fill up cooler with food and beverages. Newcastle is my weapon of choice.

2:30 PM - Leave for Rent.

3:30 PM - Arrive at Rent for tailgating.

7:00 PM - Enter stadium.

I'm just giddy right now. Weather should be absolutely beautiful. Have a good time everybody. Giddy.

Much tougher for me. Pray I can get out of work by 3:00 in Stamford. Then hope no traffic to Fairfield, so I can get home, pack car and do brief food prep/packing by 4:00 to 4:15. Then head to stadium, which without traffic is exactly an hour and hope I get to the parking lot in time to relax a little over the tailgate.

Plus, meeting my brother in law there and if I'm late he just keeps pounding back Fosters waiting.

.-.
Noon: Buy a new hose to go from my propane tank to the grill I inherited and hope it's the right grill type connection.
3: Leave work
3:40: Pick up brother in East Hartford parking lot
3:50: Park
3:53: Start drinking
4:30: Start feelin' good
5:30: Start believing Chandler Whitmer is the next Eli Manning
6:30: Start believing Lyle McCombs is the next Ray Rice
7:20: This is the time where football starts happening.

Woke up at 5:30 in the morning to put my chuck roast smothered in a barbacoa puree in the oven to cook for 5 hours for my taco's barbacoa for tonight.

9:00 clean all the golf crap out of my car so I can load up all my tailgate stuff

10am cook a bunch of bacon to dice up and mix in with my ground beef to make sliders

11am take a nap

12:30 final preperations and pack up all the food

1:00 trip to the packy to load up

1:30 meet the normal tailgate crew at PLan B in Glastonbury

Hit the road at 3:15 to be in the stadium for 3:30

4:00-7:00 Cook food for about 20 people and play at least 10 games of cornhole on my uconn boards that I built. I will not lose a single game

7:00-7:20 wait as all my guests offer to help clean up

7:22 realize nobody is going to help me and start throwing crap in my car like the parking lot is on fire

Get in just in time to watch what I predict will be the best season UConn football has had in the past 5 years
