When Geno pulled Stewie, Morgan and Moriah, I had tears in my eyes. What a fantastic run by Morgan and Moriah, and Stewie was a once in a lifetime talent. The thought of never seeing Stewie in a Husky uniform again made me realize just how amazing she has been.

A huge thanks to all three. It has been wonderful to see you all play together and run the table all 4 years.

Felt the same way!! The past 2 days I've had withdrawals of no more season and the realization we won't see the big 3 play again in a UCONN uni again. The fact we will never see what they did again. Makes u appreciate the past 4 years for sure!!

It seems like 3 years for Mo and Stewie and 2 for Morgan. I remember watching Morgan 2 seasons ago after her surgery. She looked great on the bench, wearing an attractive dress (a different one every game, I believe). But I kept saying that I wanted to see her in something more casual--like a basketball uniform! She played very, very well in her career, even though it was abbreviated. Kudos to the Big 3 for making history and making HuskyNation very, very proud!

Have to agree with everyone. In addition, these girls just seemed like the goofy kids next door that came to feel like family and unfortunately we won't be able to closely follow their careers. I can't imagine having to play/work in countries like Russia!

I was prepared for that moment. I teared up when he pulled them during their last game at Storrs. No, the moment that got me, as I said in another thread, was when Polly hit her shot. The look on her face was priceless. I felt so good for her I thought my heart would burst, and the team's reaction was so genuine.

No tears for me this year--winning the NC was a bit anti-climatic !! In 15 when Stewie, tears in her eyes, said the MVP properly belonged with Moriah (paraphrasing) I teared up. The MVP I thought (shoot me if you will) belonged with Morgan Tuck for 2016. Most assuredly I shall feel pangs of loss next November when the Three
Iron Ladies of the Acropolis don't take the floor--but I look forward to seeing how far Lou, Gabby, Napheesa, Natalie, Dangerfield, Nurse and the new Freshmen will take Uconn (I almost said US--but I never played for Uconn).

With ESPN and SNY broadcasting almost every UConn WBB game and them coming every monday or tuesday then Friday or Saturday--there was a rhythm of expectation--then throw in the Sunday games---this UConn WBB junkie is also feeling the "withdrawal" issues. Luckily I have recorded every game and I can draw on CD's from 2013,14, 15, 16 to keep my angst in check. Got to check out now--just loaded the NC for the 4th viewing and viewing every call in "slo-mo".

Not me!!!! I dint cry when Old Yeller died either!!! :)

An incredible moment that Personified UCONN Women's basketball & Geno/Chris

I gotta say, I was grinning ear to ear and shaking my head. What an incredible spectacle!

I thought Tuck would be the MOP, but Stewie could not be denied with 24, 10 and 6 in the final. Thrilled that Stewie got 4 MOP awards, but Tuck was definitely better in the semi final game and deserved strong consideration.

Huskybass- Pour me a TALL glass of that "kool-aid". :D

I was equally moved when Pulido nailed her shot.

Pulido's final "wings" shot was the gold spike on their long road to their destination in Indy. It could also be described as the nuts on top of their sundae. That shot made for a perfect ending for their weekend, and the tournament. She turned out the lights with that shot.............goodnight folks, drive home safely. :p

But it seems that the final game is weighted more. I don't know if I've ever seen someone win it for having a great semi-final game followed by a subpar or just OK title game. When it comes to final games, Stewie is money.

Not me, but when Polly hit the baseline jumper and her reaction with the benches and coaches....Priceless....Got me...hook line and sinker. And I definetely yelled for her to shoot
