One of the best games in WCBB this season. So much emotion and drama on both sides of the ball. Agree that this was a bad loss for OSU.

Not good as it's their 2nd loss in a row in Conf. , but losing to #20 on the road isn't a real bad loss in itself.
What an exciting game though. Very entertaining.

OSU was a Solid #2 Seed and probably the #1 overall 2 seed. Now depending on how they do in the B10 Tourney may have dropped down to a 3 seed. Probably end up in the Kentucky Region if they are a #3 seed depending on were Maryland goes.

just shorthand expression of what wbbfan1 posted - certainly not anything like losing to LSU or ALA  but not good in terms of jockeying for the top eight seeds in the NCAA.

Hmmmm. The SEC teams are scoring in the 40s, and the Big Ten teams are scoring in the 100s. Are they even playing the same game?? :)

So does Minnesota make the tournament? Do they not make it, but Tennessee does? Isn't this a much bigger win than any UT has had? What is the math on this? The hocus-pocus of this for the tournament? I really don't know. Honest question.

As Charlie Creme has pointed out, Minnesota's resume is crippled by a horrendous nonconference strength-of-schedule ranking (#232). The committee historically does no favors to teams like that. The win over Ohio State puts them in the conversation, but Charlie still thinks they need to beat Maryland to get in. Another liability on their résumé is that they have no road wins over any team in the RPI top 100. Beating Maryland tomorrow would take care of that issue as well. We shall see how they do. One good sign is that they were fairly competitive on the road against Michigan State, although they still came up short.

One of the rare times I wish I wasn't a cable-cutter. No access to Big Ten Network. Must have been a wild game.
