Banham missed with 3 seconds left, and Jessie Edwards got the rebound and scored with 1 second left to put Minnesota up 78-76. OSU called timeout, then Alexa Hart tied the game at the buzzer. It's 78-78 going to OT.

Banham has 31. Alston has 19, Mitchell 16.

Thanks: I had given up when OSU had a larger lead in the 2nd. Tied in OT now.

86-83 Wow! This could be important; if OSU loses, more likely to get into UConn's bracket than if it wins.

Banham got her 5th foul with 41 seconds left. Mitchell made 2 FTs to cut the deficit to 1. Then Wagner made a hoop, and Cooper made an old-fashioned 3-point play. 88-88, Minn ball. Wagner scores with :01 to go. 90-88 in a barnburner.

It's over. Will OSU fall to bottom of 2nd seed--to UConn's bracket? Maybe fall to ND's bracket? :) Of course, they probably have to play Maryland again for the Conference Title and anything can happen....

Game over. 90-88 in OT, Minnesota wins. Does this get them into the NCAAs? Does it get Banham the conference POY award? She had 35.

I wouldn't mind seeing Minn make the tournament. Banham would spice things up.

Would think as long as Minn doesn't lose another regular season game and gets to the semi-finals of the B10 tournament, they'll make the tournament.

Just noticed Minnesota plays Maryland next. If they lose that game won't impact them as it would be a quality loss. Win and they're definitely in.

Maryland's RPI/SOS is too low. They are pretty much a lock for the last 2nd seed/top 3rd seed. It will depend whether the committee goes with the S curve or the G curve.

I agree would brings some new eyes to the Women's tournament. It also helps when Kobe is Tweeting about you and shouting you out in a news conference.

So does Minnesota make the tournament? Do they not make it, but Tennessee does? Isn't this a much bigger win than any UT has had? What is the math on this? The hocus-pocus of this for the tournament? I really don't know. Honest question.

IMO both teams will make the tournament as 8-9 seeds. Heck match them up in the first round of the Tournament and you would have must see TV.

It matches up pretty closely with the TN win at Oregon State - both very good wins though this was on their home court. But ... it is the only win they have against a ranked team and only the second win they have against a team that might make the tournament (Indiana) so I think they still are a little lower on the list than TN. I hope they do get in as Banham is electric.
