He would be on my list but I don't know how many $$$ it would take to get him away from L-ville.

Heard that Jim Jabir of Dayton (formerly of Siena and Providence) is also in the mix.

Not sure that Ohio St. is a step up from Louisville.

I think Louisville is pretty good to their women's program and I am not sure OSU would be better. They may have more resources for athletics, but do they spend them in support of WCBB? And Louisville also has great fan support - I believe significantly better than OSU.

Walz is happy at Lousiville. I don't know what Walz makes and what would OSU offer. But if the offer were say $1,250,000/year, for example, I would bet that Louisville would match. They might match upwards of $1, 5000,000/year which would seem to be way above market.

Interesting choice to make Louisville vs Ohio State. Would definitely be easier to win a Conference Title in the Big 10 then the grind that the ACC will become. In the ACC in most years, Louisville ends up 3rd or 4th behind ND, Duke, and possibly UNC. I'll give a slight edge to OSU for recruiting players, especially players from the Mid West. Probably less pressure at Louisville as the next coach at OSU is expected to get OSU back to conference titles and a National Championship. IMHO Jeff stays at Louisville, especially after last nights win.
