Have we seen Boyle out of the shotgun yet today? Might need to start going for quick hit slants to keep the Houston defense honest

Why not try a 51 yard field goal?
Because if you miss it's a huge swing in field position. Pin them deep, make them drive 90 yards, and use clock. Plus the defense has played well.

Still a clown show when it comes to the basics of managing the game -- substitutions, timeouts -- it's embarrassing.

Do we not have a third TE on the active roster?

We are playing for a bowl bid and have nothing to lose. Verducci can go into shell and why give them the ball back.

My guess is that it's true frosh Chris Lee.
Thanks. I guess I just find it crazy that we play 2 TE sets a lot and we don't have anyone else who can step in? They don't plan on a possible injury?

I've notied that during times when we maybe should've been working Lee/Holman into the rotation (winning or losing in a blowout), we've moved away from that set to go more WR-heavy.

I don't see how Diaco makes a ton of halftime offensive adjustments w/o BS. Houston, OTOH, can make some. Not a lot of confidence in Boyle. I'd rather see Diaco just play "3 yards and a cloud of dust" in 2nd half and wear down Houston's D.

Our D looks great though, so far.

These goshdarn personal fouls by the defense. No no no!

I just want to know why our offensive line can even just get in the way of the defense sometimes

What a stupid stupid move there, have to be way smarter than that, Unacceptable .

Adeyemi stood out to me as incredibly intelligent and articulate in interviews. Why he lost it there is beyond me.

Penalty is inexcusable, but defense is playing out of their minds so far. Control those penalties and they'll keep us in this one.

If you were playing a drinking game where you took a shot every time an announcer said "dynamic player", you'd have a blood alcohol level of about 4.2 right now.

Nice bounce back from the D after the penalty, to get the 3 and out stop.

On the bright side, looks like he shook Postma up. Ball hasn't look as good coming out of his hands since.
