ode to Jordan Hawkins

I've watched most of the Uconn games during this tournament and I am thrilled from what I've seen. Jordan Hawkins has been absolutely amazing. I got to thinking, this guy is giving his all each and every game, he deserves something back. So...I've decided to do something I have never done before, I wrote a tribute to him. It's kind of of corny but it was fun. The words are sung to the tune of "Puff the Magic Dragon", so here goes.

Hawk the soaring Husky,
he loves to shoot the rock.
And frolics in the arenas
in the land of the Big East.

Big Ole Jordan Hawkins,
loves to shoot the "J"
He dribbles about so easily,
and hardly breaks a sweat.

Oh, Hawk the soaring Husky,
loves to chew his gum
and runs about the 3 point arc,
to find his shooting spot.

Hawk the soaring Husky,
strokes a beautiful arc,
that finds its mark,
more times than not,
that leaves defenders wrought.


I know...I know....it's pretty corny!

I was kinda bored today and this thought came to me so I ran with it. Enjoy.

It's in english, just sound it out. This may be the first time I've been responded to by an 11 year old.
