Observations of the Blind Guy

Having seen very few games before the Big East semis and NCAAs ... a consequence of a conspiracy between Hoopstreams and my satellite internet provider, but now having had a decent number of games to look at and actually feel I can offer a credible observation or two, phew, that was a load wasn't it. Anyway, the observation or two (2) would be: the nonrevelation that this team play's hellashous defense, but it does come at a cost - we held them to 3 in the first 10 minutes, but we only scored 16 in the same 10 minutes gang. We played some ugly offense in those 10 minutes and still have issues on the perimeter. Good stuff: despite Tiff's tendency to occasionally just defy logic and throw herself into a crowd, she is the energizer bunny, which is a key thing for this young club. Ms. Dolson's footwork is superb! She has yet to have a challenge on the vertical in the NCAA's and I hope the energy continues. Felt she has held back on open shots in the upper key of late, but that may have been part of the game plan. Seems to me the KML has not been getting into the flow of the game/involved early enough. Was not until after 10 minute mark that she did last night, but when she did - oh my - Ms. outside/inside ...important for her to keep pushing it inside when she feels it. On Tiff, she took two tough falls and an ugly turnover last night which the replay showed was a bad decision but also a tweaked/near roll over on the tender foot. Glad she has the gap 'til next weekend. 'Spect she's a tad sore today.
