anyone know how tickets usually work. I live in Rochester New York and our girls are playing Syracuse next weekend. I don't know how tickets usually work for the lesser known sports. Has anyone gone to any games? Syracuse has ignored my calls and e-mails so I was wondering how UConn handles tickets, in case it is similar.

I would bet heavily that you can just walk up and buy a ticket at the door. Assuming you even need to buy a ticket.

Their first home game had attendance of 206.

Thanks! that is my guess (especially since Syracuse cant be bothered to respond to me). Why their attitude gives me half a mind to root for UConn...oh wait,

I don't know about Syracuse, but at UConn, the women's ice hockey is free. Yale and Quinnipiac charge a few dollars but tickets are available at gametime. Many venues are general admission so you can move around between periods. It's fantastic getting close to the action and being able to see the game from multiple angles.

I'd love to hear your impressions if you do get to go.
