Fourteen months ago, USC quarterback Caleb Williams was a freshman backup at Oklahoma entering the Red River Rivalry game against Texas hoping to give the Sooners a spark. Now, the 20-year-old is a Heisman Trophy winner.

Though he was the only finalist to not advance to the College Football Playoff, USC quarterback Caleb Williams won the Heisman Trophy after leading the new-look Trojans' resurgence in his first year at the school.

It’s also cool that someone who’s thrilled about his Heisman win wears #5 in Husky Blue and White. At Gonzaga High School, where Caleb rose to prominence, his #1 receiver was our own Aaron Turner.
