48-33 Tina on way to triple double, Green having a great half!

Yeah I saw Tina's line, she's got 9 assists and 8 points to go along with 14 boards, and it's still 3rd quarter !!

BOX

And the end of the 3rd, Tina now has 10 pts, 9 assts 16 rebounds :D 1 more assist in the 4th qtr for the triple.

And she gets the 10th assist! Per the announcer, it's the first triple-double in the WNBA since 2005, and only the 5th time that it has been done in league history.

CONGRATS TINA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't understand how the Sun can be so dominant at home and look so inept on the road.

Could be a big win tonight if the Liberty lose to the Lynx. Will go along way to locking up 2nd in the division.

P.S. and she did the triple-double in 28 minutes!

Congrats to Tina, a GREAT and rare WNBA accomplishment! It was interesting that her 10th assist was to Jess Moore. A great team effort with EVERYONE contributing. I said in another thread a few days ago that this game could be a good indicator of things to come...hope I was right!

Because they love playing in CT for the best WCBB fans in the world. And it carries them as pros.

It's not a matter of home versus road. It's a matter of making jump shots as a team, which unsurprisingly tends to happen at home. The Sun's worst game all season was at home, and it was a game where no could make a shot. The Sun are reliant on their jump shooting, which doesn't make them unique in the WNBA but does create quite a bit of variability in performance. They don't have a player that can get to the FT line when she ever wants. They don't have a player they can isolate when they are struggling to score. And even with Tina Charles they are not a great rebounding team so they can't compensate that way.
