O.T. NCAA Charges Pitino, not Louisville

BTW, This is exactly what Pitino wanted to be the outcome from his very first press conference about the incidents. "Punish me, if you want, not the University." Man the NCAA and the situational ethics.

If that happened at UConn, there'd be no season this year.
And right from the start teams in WCBB would be calling for Geno's head and questioning every one of his championships.

The NCAA obviously based their "charges" on the term ESCORTS . It would seem only proper-- SOUTHERN etiquette dictates providing ENTERTAINMENT for guests. Were the visiting recruits and their Fathers fully entertained?? So what is the fuss??

Lol. The key word with ESCORT is SERVICE, and how extensive was that service. No fuss, no muss. NEXT!

Not only UConn, but a couple hundred other programs (none in Chapel Hill, NC) would be similarly decimatated.

What service would one expect from an ESCORT?? To be escorted around the campus and local eateries---does not every University do the same?? Here in Broadway--we don't have professional escorts --just nice citizens who guide other nice people around the 1/2 acre of down town Broadway.

Can we take a second before worrying about scholarship reductions and focus on this unquestioned fact … a prominent, powerhouse college basketball program turned its players’ dorm into a gentlemen’s club/brothel to help recruiting?
I am shocked--utterly shocked, what is the world coming to?? Gentlemen's club?? Brothel?? Turned the players dorm?? Sounds like the old OU issues --without the escorts.

Given Pitino's own personal past history, I'm trying to think of something clever, but can't. But you can imagine....

Was the dorm a monastery before the recruits visited ?

It happened on Louisville campus. Some responsibilty is required. My first guess is they will bury the woman who brought the thing to light. Money wins mostly for now anyway.

Apparently the young men being serviced by the prostitootsies in that college dorm were secure in the knowledge that "Coach Pitino's not gonna walk in that door!"

Jurich does allow his coaches a lot of freedom...Pitino, Petrino, etc.,
