I had to fight the urge to write a snarky thread title... LINK

Speaking of snarky, I'm thoroughly amused at the drama on the men's side re: the officiating during the Iowa State game. The outrage! The incompetence!

And here, I was thinking it was a uniquely women's bball issue....

I laughed out loud when I read the title of this thread. Left me wondering what the snarky version would have been...:D

at least they're respectful enough not to blow them in the ears of the players taking the ball out of bounds

I don't know...in the women's games it seems to me that the referees are doing harm to the whistles by over-using them. Some refs must have to replace their whistles at the half - yeah, talking 'bout you, Bonita.

I have to say that Bonita is much better than she was a couple of years ago.

No, that would be the blinders they put on. They are uber high tech. We can't see them - and they can't see through them. The tech must be faulty.

The other thing I've noticed is the refs going to the scorer's table to check the game clock. You know, one of the first signs of insanity is losing track of relative time...

It seems just as likely their hearing would be damaged by the continual 140 decibel screaming of voices yelling "You suck" :p

I have 99 likes so far. I had to post something that would for sure get me over 100 ;)
