NY Times article on UMass past glories

Knew that the BY guys would enjoy an article called Past Glories Resound in UMass Revival. Just want to warn you though that you will not see a reference to any word like "vacate" or "infractions" if you do a search of the article because the writer did not feel that type of information was needed for some reason.

The writer of the article was a local fanboy when the Squid was there. That is probably why there is no mention of it.

There was a graphic on ESPN during the Michigan-MSU game on most Final Fours in the last 20 years or something, with Izzo at the top, but Calipari was on there with four. Funny because the NCAA made Kentucky change their media guide for mentioning his past Final Fours when he got there.

I don't remember UMass being in the '96 Final Four. I don't think the NCCA does either.
