In that they should be clarifying the model for the best candidate.
Most of all someone who is NOT on the back nine of their career. Age discrimination? Unfair? Yeah, probably. But UConn just got burned severely by going that route. UConn needs a fresh face in every sense of the word. Someone not tied P/GDL also closely as Mazzone was for starters. Why I'm wary of Ambrose/Morehead as well.
Two: someone who is having a very good season THIS YEAR. Mazzone? Sure UConn would take the 35th best offense in the country. But see no reason why the top Broyles award guys this year and/or head coaches in the Lembo category can't be gotten.
Mazzone would be a good OC and Brown a good DC. But IMO not the best HC.
