Number 1,100 for Geno

I was going to mention that lost in all of this, Geno wins no. 1100, and joins a very exclusive club that didn’t exist 2 months ago. Just Tara VanDerveer (Stanford) 1105, and Geno. They won’t be getting any new members for awhile.
Congratulations Geno on achieving yet another milestone in women’s college basketball. I’m putting this achievement (record) on the top shelf with those other rare sports records that have been recognized and projected to never be broken.
To break it, a coach would have to eclipse 1100 wins in less games. That means they also have to have multiple undefeated seasons along the way. A rare and difficult achievement to say the least. Geno has six. Possible, but highly improbable.

Paige could be like Kia and Gabby, they were there for #900 and #1,000.Great post. And he had to work hard for number 1100.
Let's see how soon he gets to 1200 now
