Now is the time

This is the time for the University, Donors and the State to go all in regarding locking up our coaches, their staffs and giving the sports programs and our athletes all the resources they need to compete at the highest level. There may never be this much momentum for so many of UCONN’s teams at the same time. Conversely, the Blue Bloods in college basketball look totally vulnerable after having several high level coaches retire. It’s time to take over the Big East and take over college basketball while taking our other sports to the next level.

Duke, UNC, Nova, Cuse, Louisville, Mich St., Michigan, Kentucky, and even Gonzaga are nowhere near as strong as they typically are. Won't find a better time than now to win that 5th natty and cement ourselves as a top 5 program in MBB once again.

Yup assistant coaches getting a HC job is more of a good thing. The one thing you don’t want to see is assistants moving to other assistant roles, but with Kenya, that whole debacle ended up best for UConn.
