Now 20 combined Final Fours between the UConn men and women

Uconn has reached its 15th Final Four since 1991. UConn reached its fifth since 1999. Twenty is is a lot.

And this is of course now the fourth time both programs have gone to the Final Four in the same season. Each of the previous three (2004, 2009, 2011) produced at least one champion.

Amazing that this little state nestled in the southwest corner of New England, with all of its history as a colony and as a state, can claim college basketball as the thing that stands out as unique and special. Of course, now is the time to add to just how unique and special the traditions of UConn's programs are.
