November General CBB Discussion Thread (Non-BE)

Portal era totally changes the ability to compare apples to apples, but Louisville managed about the quickest resurgence from the dumpster that I can remember.

Kelsey’s a damn good coach. They have one of the 3-4 best backcourts in the country.

Certainly no love for UL but there’s no one except maybe Duke I like watching lose more than UK, even sans Cal.

This totally sets us up for the “I can’t believe this team struggled with Delaware” angst on Saturday.
agree. Although it would be cool to see Delaware beat BYU, not tonight…don’t want BYU to come to Boston bloodthirsty for a win

At some point shouldn’t the ACC kick BC out of the conference for pretending to play college sports and collecting money not earned.
I mean talk about buyers remorse. Now they are stuck with Catholic misfit who brings absolutely nothing to the conference. I'm not sure if they did it to appease ND or not, but what a waste of a selection. Uconn was 100X the better fit directionally with where things are going.

I don't think it will matter - this is not a really impressive BYU team. I'm actually pretty impressed with how much composure Delaware plays with.

I hope you are right. This is my first time watching them, but I’ve heard enough AJD hype that I figured they were just having an off half. Delaware is definitely looking good so far

Florida also lost Aberdeen to the portal and he's got 22 vs Louisville tonight. UK/Louisville turning into a game late after UK was down 20

And Texas Tech takes the lead over Illinois 7 minutes into the 2nd half after being down 13 at the half.

Pretty crazy night of college hoops for mid-November.

Delaware missing 3 starters up 3 at the half. BYU looks soft and unconnected.
Yes - just nothing fluid about them as a unit from a chemistry perspective. They have a ball heavy PG, a hot dog frosh and then Richie Saunders. Very little depth. Tarris will be able to eat against this team. Keita is diesel, but Tarris has a LOT of size on him.

JT Toppin gets my early vote for POY. He feels generally unstoppable and a very tough matchup at his size. Centers won't be fast enough, PF won't be strong/big enough. Once he gets going downhill from the left side, he's hard to guard. Boy is he active.

Did we know that both him and Dent were on UNM at the same time for one year?
