November General CBB Discussion Thread (Non-BE)

I agree we don’t seem to have anyone like that this year and didn’t last year but we had Cam in 24 and AJ before that who would have “murdered someone” to win the chip for UConn
We need some killers out there - call them what you want, dawgs, chips on shoulder. It's like what I saw with Caleb Wilson the other day, a kid playing angry. Right now it looks like we are rolling out the St Patricks choir boys. Maybe Smith has a little.

I don't really - more about being super curious as to what really happens in these situations, would love to be a fly on the wall. The Toure scenario was interesting because lot's of inside info. Not so much with Thomas - and he is a baller and could totally see him fitting & complimenting this roster. We've stated we need less choir boys and more dawg with attitude, and he brings that. Hurley even says it in his book, yet seems to only recruit "nice" kids.

Lol, and yes Alex is better than YMCA level athlete. No spinal fluid sounds a lot worse than a bad knee ligament, good god man. Are you a vampire?

Small exaggeration but my lateral quickness with a bad back and 2 bad knees ain’t what it used to be, and I was never Allen Iverson.

I live just over the bridge on Commercial.
What's up neighbor, I live on Galt Mile ... are you aware of 11/22 football @ FAU?

Thought this might get some more chatter. Both teams played us. New Haven gave us a tougher game as we rolled over Lowell by 60. Kinda hope New Haven wins - they felt like a tougher team.

Other side note - New Haven also played our opponent tonight, Columbia. Lost by 18.

New Haven just beat Lowell, so the results are adding up.

Also, Xavier is down 20 at half to Santa Clara. Solid.

Genius strategy on our part having all our cupcakes play each other in a round robin. That way, some of them have to get wins.

Pitt beat Eastern Michigan by 12.

I bring it up for no other reason than I stumbled on the score … and that I feel like it’s the first time I’ve even noticed Pitt basketball existed since the Kemba stepback.

Win or lose UF is not even close to last year’s team. Was nuts for the casuals to think Fland, Lee and Haugh are in the same stratosphere as Clayton, Richard and Martin. O-ver-rated.

Michigan down late in a pseudo home game (Detroit) against Wake.

Wouldn’t mind seeing them lose.

And then of course UK/UL right now, and TTU/ILL and Creighton at the Zags late. Great early-season weeknight for college hoops.

No, they aren't. Fland has one assist tonight. Lee is really meh. You just can't expect an Ivy League kid like that to come in and play with the big boys of the SEC. Haugh is great, but he's not a guard. I'm fine with the two big lineup, but three big lineup is overkill. They haven't got much off their bench either. That trio last year was three dudes.

What is the closer three point line there for on that clearly custom court?
