Well if Columbus is not still playing, I wouldn't mind seeing Zach Steffen get a chance at GK. He played out of his mind vs Atlanta last night.

I'm excited about our next GK generation. Horvath, Steffen, Klinsmann, Gonzalez, Pulisic, a couple other kids in Germany whose names escape me, a kid in the Tottenham youth ranks, and Hamid who is still relatively young. Lots of competition.

I think Horvath is better, and had performed on a bigger stage. Steffen had a phenomenal game on Friday and is freakishly athletic, but two of those pk attempts in the shootout were plain awful.

I predict the call ups with be a mixture of disappointment (Hedges and Zimmerman) and wtf!

The only thing I can think is he thought it was an offside??? I couldn't see whether the AR popped his flag or not. Obviously the CR didn't blow his whistle.
