This says a lot about the big east, and I hope the committee understands just how competitive this conference is. If they end up taking 5-6 teams like Hurley said he hopes they will, obviously we are very safe and I would imagine that would improve our seeding too. Even taking 5 would be great for us. What a win by Butler, wow.

Not sure about that. Jay’s smart enough to know when it’s done.
 
If Butler can do this to Nova, we should be way better against them than what we showed last weekend. Maybe at MSG we'll meet again.
 
This is bad for the perception of the Big East, but good for our resume since we beat Butler twice and those wins looking better matters more than our loss to Villanova looking a little less understandable.
 
Butler is missing every one of their free throws here...

That's just about as awful a loss for Nova as it can get. 2/27 from the three. That has to be some kind of record for futility. Any team can crap the bed any given day but losing to Butler coming down the stretch like that is painful.
 
Nova going 2-27 on threes makes our 1-11 in the 2011 NC vs Butler look good, lol.

We only got 1 chance at Nova, 1 Creighton game w/o Bouk and the other lost in OT.

it is a crazy season for sure though.
 
Matchups I guess. We played Butler twice and after doing so it seemed like we would beat them 10 out of 10. Just seemed that way. Doubt it would actually happen.

Nova just kinda big-boyed us. Good learning experience for both the players and coaches. Nova still may beat us 6 or 7 out of 10, but I think we have a shot if we see them again in BE tournament.
 
methinks both nova and creighton better make some rum offerings to jobu for their 3s game, cuz iffn their 3 balls are even slightly off, they toast. we are far more balanced in our o game then those guys.

If we don't settle for stall ball we are as good as anyone in the league right now. This team should never be taking 27 threes unless TP is on fire.

when you say that before every game youre bound to be right sometimes! certainly wasnt true about marquette though. our three Cs combined for 8 pts 9 rebs and 10 fouls
