ND's opponents have surely saw the most recent Louisville game, but they won't necessarily be able to replicate Louisville's defense performance.

At this time of year, you don't need to win by 26. One point will do.

There are a lot of teams that kept their injury situations close to the vest. ND, FSU, NC State, are just a few examples. Perspective as to who didn't want their rankings affected is based on one's bias/perception of the situation.

For those chirping that ND was being shady, take it with a grain of salt. It all shakes out in the end during the tournament.
