After Houston's win over OU UConn needs NDU to beat Texas tonight or invite to B12 is in jeopardy.

(Not really. But someone was eventually going to write this as a serious talking point).

I'm spending tonight with the hottest babe instead of my wife of 20 plus years

Agreed. Although I think we're still okay with a Texas win as long as there are a lot of points scored.

I'm just rooting for the Long Horn Network..............lol

.-.
They have an explosive offense.
Very funny.
Watch it. The Leftists here will tell you to take it to the CessPool.

Actually, an ND win more helpful to possible invite to ACC:

1. Strengthens perception of ACC as FB power, making our addition, even if we are perceived to be a weak FB school, more palatable to traditional ACC FB schools/power brokers,

2. Puts ND one step closer to needing to join a conference to be in best position for playoff. We are on short list for #16.

3. With OK loss, weakens perception of B12 as a FB power, making addition of a perceived weak FB school less palatable to expansion voters in B12.

A tie is our best case scenario if we want to keep all options open.

We need to hope sometime in the near future Notre Dame gets snubbed from the playoff with 1 loss and they decide independence isn't worth it without a CCG

Is it only obvious to those on the yard? Texas suffers another mediocre year. Herman replaces strong in Austin. UH becomes irrelevant.
Very plausible.

My prediction - in the next 75 years, we will be in a conference with one or both of these schools.

God Texas is fun. That frosh can chuck it. Yes Fishy, in B12 for 23 years than ACC with ND for 52. Of course we will all be dead, but whatever

I believe this loss alone knocks ND out of the 4 team playoffs.

Whats the difference between Texas and Connecticut? We beat Notre Dame in OT in South Bend.
Yeah, but that story line doesn't fit the narrative quite as well. In the eyes of these internet hacks, Texas football is completely back and UConn football is irrelevant.

We've also beaten Rutgers, Louisville, Maryland, Pittsburgh, and .... oh never mind I am told that UConn could never compete with mighty P5 schools in football.

can we flip the title to 'Texas win help Uconn to ACC?'...
Does another strong year from ND but missing the playoffs get them to realize they need to join the ACC to get in the championship game?

It's much more likely that LSU tries to grab Herman than UT.

Football success is all that matters, unless it's UConns. Then it doesn't.
