Monday is gonna be a good day..!! Oh yeah...!!
On Monday, assuming UConn takes care of business on Sunday, two of the four teams listed in the headline will lose. That is because #7 N.D. (16-2) is hosting #6 Tennessee (15-2) and #3 Baylor (15-1) is hosting #4 Texas (13-2). Two losers, guaranteed to drop in the polls...

Also on Monday, #13 Stanford (13-4) plays #14 Arizona (16-1) in California. I guess UConn would prefer Stanford to win, but Arizona is nobody's patsy. It feels so weird to wish the Cardinal luck...

Down in Florida, the Gators (9-9) are playing some school from S.C. (17-0). Florida led #10 Kentucky by 7 before falling apart and losing by 6 pts on Thursday. The Gators missed 9 of 14 three's and 6 of 9 free throws. Don't expect much, but....

P.S. - My daughter goes to USF and the bet is I shave my head if UConn loses. I don't if they win.

Good question. It's a "Big Monday" as ESPN calls it, and UConn is a staple of those Big Monday games, but I guess not this Monday! The 2/9 Big Monday game against SCar is going to be the biggest one of the regular season I think.

Go ND. Could care less Texas vs. Baylor although Mulkey's histrionics are amusing. The biggest benefit of a Vol loss is reading their message board afterwards !

Any time Mulkey loses is a good time for me... So I have to root for Texas... as for Tennessee and Notre Dame... I am really torn. I really dislike Notre Dame as of late... and would love for them to have another beat down.... but I do not want Tennessee to win. If I have to.... I would go with the two T's. begrudgingly

I can't stand ND or TN. I think my distaste for TN is more intense, but not certain - my dislike of ND came from other sports, way before the WCBB rivalry, so it has seniority. I'm just going to watch the game and root whichever way my heart leads me at the time.
