ND has cut a 10 point deficit down to 4. 2 minutes left.

Creme says that Notre Dame is one of the last 4 into the Big Dance as an At Large Team? Is he kidding us ??? There are at least 3 Teams in the Big East, outside of UCONN, that are better than ND (DePaul, Seton Hall and Villanova).
Massey:
DePaul #39
ND #41
Villanova #56
Seton Hall #64

NET:
DeP #55 ... 2-4 vs Q1 / 2-0 vs Q2 / 6-0 vs Q3-4
N D #56 ... 2-6 / 5-1 / 1-0
S H #58 ... 0-1 / 1-1 / 7-1
Vil #66 ... 1-2 / 0-1 / 10-0

ND easily ahead of SH & Vill in terms of NCAA.

Evans has been quiet for quite a while, but just nails a dagger 3. 69-65 56 seconds left.

What are the ND coaches doing? woof
They only wasted about 30 seconds before the inevitable of sending Evans to the FT line. Brilliant time management.

Evans w/ 27, Kiana Smith w/ 16, Balogun w/ 12.

4 w/ 10 for the Irish.

Watching A&M, Baylor, Louisville, and NC State today (top 10 teams).

WBB is definitely down this year compared to the usual quality of basketball.
Yep. Damn I wish we could've had a Tourney last year. Any of last year's top 3 and maybe 4 so much better than anyone this year.

Having 2 teams that were clearly better than anyone else wouldve meant a slow build to a battle of the titans matchup for the NC. Would've been fun.

Ahhhh, I was actually rootin' for ND to pull this one out. However, with that non-existent D on Evans for that late 3, and horrible no TO call with 45 seconds left, ND deserved to get beat. Stop Evans and you stop Louisville, easier said than done!

I mean, they had Mabrey trying to guard Evans in crunch time. Depending on a Mabrey for a key defensive stop generally doesn't play out well, lol.

Duke is ahead of Villanova and Seton Hall... and we quit long ago

I counter that having no dominant team and several really good teams means the national tournament will be as exciting and unpredictable as any tournament in recent memory. Will be fun...and for some of us, stressful...wondering which versions of our favorite teams will show up on any given day.

You should see their father in action. Quite entertaining.
Haven't noticed him yet. Not that I watch a lot of ND games. Apples didn't fall far from the tree?
