Let's get some perspective here. It is November, not late March.

The outcome of this game is meaningless in the long term.

I say, the outcome (not how we play) of our game with ND in early December doesn't mean anything.

It's how we play in late March.

To do that, we need to keep improving, etc. For us, an L in the regular season is irrelevant.

When Stewie was a junior, OMG, we lost in the regular season. But we won the tournament. Season = complete success. Period.

So says I.

I know your salivating for ND to get beat but it's they've only played 5 min

No, you’re salivating for them to win. Makes no difference to me. I thought most UConn fans would be intrigued though.

I’m just one of the very few that previously stated that I thought ND was overrated and not this overwhelming force that most people think.

Millender just hit an Arike-style buzzer beatimg corner three falling out of bounds right in front of ND's bench. Yikes. No defense for that.

10 turnovers in the first quarter for ND. Can't win like that.

Turner in foul trouble as well.

Bad all around.

29-22 DEP end of first

DEP with 8 steals? Looks like they have some defense while ND has none.

ND misses Mabrey's 3 point shooting. The 3 freshman guards haven't shown the ability the shoot and make them.

I'm not exactly sure how they could be overrated..................they won the NC beating a UConn team that in most ways is better then this year's team along the way............. they have all of their important players returning with the addition of one of the best post players in college basketball along with some nice freshmen...............seems fair to say that they should be considered the favorites to win it again..........

it is fair to say that those fans thinking that ND is going to have a cakewalk this season should always remember games like this can happen along the way..........I still expect ND to get it together in the second half of this one.........

ND seems to have weathered the initial storm. Arike is clearly in team-on-my-back mode.

ND is clearly the favorite to win again this year. And they should be.

We shall see. Late March is a long way off.

3:46 in the 2nd, 42-39 ND against a team UConn strokes on the regular. If DePaul had a rebounder this would be even more interesting.

At the half Young and Arike are a combined 38 points. ND 54-47. Not quite what I expected from ND so far.
