Didn't seem like much love for Roscoe there.

*Napier:
“It’s sad that we can’t play in the NCAA tournament or the Big East tournament, but those are things you have to deal with. Like I said, some people deal with them, some people run away. It’s how you’re born. It’ s how you live your life.”
No love lost here

also implies Roscoe and Alex left because of the ban, which would surprise me on both counts

I just don't think Alex liked it here anymore, and I thought Roscoe left for other reasons like position or PT

After the past few days here, am I the only one who opened the link expecting it to be meeting notes from a town hall meeting from some podunk town in Wyoming that featured notes and quotes from some mayor named Robert Napier and a town assessor Tom Olander?

Gotta love the offseason!

Thanks for the post, almost seemed like we didn't have a team for weeks.

Napier has pretty much been throwing underhand jabs at Oriakhi and Smith ever since those two decided to flee.

I'm glad.

I'm with you. Shabazz is applying a little(no so subtle) diplomacy; and, his comment is right on the money. Imo a sign of leadership.

GO HUSKIES!!!

Regardless of whether or not you agree with it, fostering that "us against the world" mentality is something these kids seem to respond to.

Napier has shown true character in these adverse times. I have a ton of respect for him.

Another giant "" to all the people who were bashing Bazz last year.

Bazz is a character guy and this team needs character. They have to accept what they were dealt and move on. Next year they will be playing for their honor and Bazz is correct when he says it's how you were raised. Loyalty is difficult to assess until the time comes when you need to choose between the easy road and the road less traveled. I liked the kid from day 1 and now I like the man he is becoming. This team will be okay and maybe better.

No offense, but I have to think Napier is better connected than you.
